About Halo: Campaign Evolved

Halo: Campaign Evolved is a ground-up remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, the 2001 shooter that launched the entire Halo franchise. Rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 by Halo Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios, it reimagines the original campaign with upgraded visuals, redesigned levels and brand-new missions that expand the story of the Master Chief and the discovery of the ringworld Halo.

The headline news is reach: for the first time in the series' history, a mainline Halo launches on PlayStation 5 alongside Xbox Series X|S and PC, with cross-play and cross-progression. The game ships day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, supports four-player online co-op and two-player split-screen, and focuses on the campaign rather than the original competitive multiplayer.
