About Splatoon Raiders
Splatoon Raiders is a single-player-focused spin-off in Nintendo's colourful ink-shooter series, and the first Splatoon title built exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. Announced in June 2025, it moves away from the franchise's competitive Turf War multiplayer toward a story-driven treasure hunt, sending players across the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. It is a fresh direction for one of Nintendo's biggest modern franchises, designed to show off the new console's hardware.
In Raiders you team up with Deep Cut — the trio of Shiver, Frye and Big Man first introduced in Splatoon 3 — to explore the islands, customise your character, equip mechanical Gadgets and ink-flinging weapons, and fend off waves of Salmonid foes. While the campaign centres on solo play, up to four players can adventure together online or over local wireless, and a line of Deep Cut amiibo launches alongside the game.
Splatoon Raiders launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2026. The countdown above ticks down to release day — add it to your own page to follow exactly how many days remain until you can set off across the Spirhalite Islands.
